The Reunion Island, located in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, is an unspoilt and surprising destination, one where nature rules. This volcanic island regularly echoes to the sounds of its volcano. On cliff tops, or on a beach, you’ll be taken aback by the beauty of the landscape and the wealth of nature. A large section of the Ile Bourbon – the nickname given to Reunion – was classified as a natural park in 2007; and the pitons, cirques and remparts were classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010.
